Nice small museum, stuffed full of all sorts of oddities and curios. It perhaps wouldn't be particularly engaging to families with younger children, but worth going to for a quick visit

Plenty to see in this quaint, eccentric little museum. I spent a good hour or more totally absorbed by the many fascinating exhibits and relics of village life. I was particularly taken by the folders of ephemera relating to the flood disaster of 1952 and...More

This is a great little museum, which charts the local workers and people. Although small, entrance is reasonable. Check opening times, as this was my third visit, luckily I found it open this time :)

I have no idea what this museum is like, we tried several times to visit, the sign outside said it would be open but it wasn't. Disappointed.

What an amazing little museum located in an old cottage and packed with artefacts. Despite the size, (it as quite small) we spent an hour in there, so much to look at including the haunted room! Well worth visiting.

A definite step back in time. Lots to see and read. Old exhibits and artefacts on many local events and industries.

We really enjoyed our visit to this delightful museum. The exhibits are well displayed and present an interesting picture of the local area. If you like small, local museums, then you will enjoy visiting this one.
