We stayed in the accommodation available on site at Glen Lyn Gorge. The main house has apartments on the lower floor and we booked two of these for our family. They are quaint little properties with log fires and 4 poster beds. If you're looking for a modern, fancy hotel this is not it! It's homely, warm and unique. You... More

Visited today and the museum and the walk were OK but not worth the £6 entrance fee. I would suggest half the fee would be fair.

We had a great trip here today. My father in law's mobility scooter had broken so we were looking for somewhere that we could borrow something. Phoned yesterday and booked the tramper for today. They were expecting us when we arrived, he showed us around and we had a brilliant time climbing the gorge, despite the rain! Absolutely fantastic!!!

Not only is this a beautiful location which has access for all including disabled routes it is surprisingly educational. If you bring a lunch its a peaceful place to eat. There are places to sit if you find it difficult to walk up-hill. There are interactive activities for kids (including us big ones), a great introduction to hydro-electric power, the... More

I did not expect this attraction to be as big as it was! amazing views plenty of walking and something for everyone no matter of your age. The only reason i have given this review a 4* is due to the lack of advertising... More

We stopped in here whilst visiting the town, felt that the entrance price was a bit steep, nearly £14 for my partner, 3 year old and myself. The lady on the kiosk was very nice though! The museum was interesting and quite child friendly, the walking was at times a little treacherous underfoot, I had our baby in a carrier... More

They've really done the best with what they've got. Full marks for making it so disabled friendly. Very impressed.

Arranged to stay in the house for one night but was pleasantly surprised we could have a cottage for the same price. Loved it here, free to come and go and so much to do. Nicola was a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. World def stay again. Thank you

Absolutely loved this. They've worked hard to make this place work for young and old. I'm disabled and would recommend phoning in advance to borrow the tramper as it helps really get to the top and appreciate the views and nature at its best. Would return in a flash.
