It really is hard to beat the location of this place. Walk along the Teign river, over the old stone bridge and into this pub and the landlord's job should be easy. On a busy Sunday, we were lucky to find a table in the...More

Beautiful pub in river, and wooded setting. Lunch was homemade and cooked perfectly, lots of meat and served by friendly and efficient staff. Dog friendly in the bar area which was very comfortable. Prices of drink and food were reasonable. Open all day but lunch...More

Another visit to this very quaint inn such a great location, have only been for coffee but it has a good menu, furnishings are good, the tables outside are all close to the river so quiet and relaxing, hope to book for dinner soon.

Its a beautiful place to go. The children love to play in the water, there is plenty of grass to play games on in the field on the far side over the bridge. The pub is fine. The river walks are lovely in both directions.

What a stunning location. We visited on a week day having walked from Castle Drogo. Very steep but delightful walk. Much moaning & groaning from the husband until his little face lit up when he saw the sign for the Fingle bridge inn. A very...More

Was here for a trail race nearby. The place was packed, although clearly because of all the runners. The setting is very beautiful, with lots of hiking about. I had a burger which was excellent. My partner had eggs and ham, which she thought was...More

The location on the river is wonderful and this place has all the makings of a gem - however the food was just not up to scratch. Clear straight from a freezer bag into he oven and dumped onto the plate. Salad was clearly delivery...More
