Was here for a trail race nearby. The place was packed, although clearly because of all the runners. The setting is very beautiful, with lots of hiking about. I had a burger which was excellent. My partner had eggs and ham, which she thought was...More

It is really the location that makes this place, otherwise I would have said average to good. Sitting outside by the riverside watching the Dippers on a sunny day is glorious though.

Had lunch here today and it was a delight. Setting is stunning, sun was shining so thankfully we got to eat outside and take advantage of the view. Food was of a good standard and there was a varied choice. Not a bad price either....More

We were really disappointed with the carvery. There was taste to it, limited selection of vegetable on a small plate and only 2 small slices of meat. Expected more for the price. Setting was beautiful but the food needs improving .
