I hadn’t heard of this garden but I’m so glad we visited. The flowering beds are stunning. The facilities are excellent. The train ride was fun. The palm house is a precursor of the famous one at Kew, and is an architectural gem. The gardens...More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, nice cafe and wonderful gardens. Also a train ride for a small extra cost around the park. Countryside museum interesting too. Loads of ducks who loved to show off in the ponds! Dog friendly too

Lovely gardens with massive trees and lakes. You can take a small train to have a ride around parts of the garden. As well as lovely plants flowers and trees there is a display of farm machinery old cars and other countryside equipment.
