A wonderful experience. Our guide was so full of Enthusiasm and knowledge the hour and a quarter we spent in his company was truely fascinating. Th story related in the kneelers around the cathedral edge told the story of Exeter in all it's grusome detail...More

Quite a bit of some work to find parking but it is possible. If you aren't attending service you must pay to enter this church. I did find it quite odd to pay to enter a church and know locals who will not go because...More

Worth a visit. Loved the famous ceiling, longest of its type in the world. Plenty of light, not a given in any cathedral. Driftwood Cross a bit special. Very helpful steward who (tended my hat whilst taking snaps!) What service. Hayling Seagoon

The cathedral is so beautiful and it is a must-see however the entry fee is high and I'm not sure I could justify paying for that again- it would be great if it was a voluntary donation. I've seen someone say you get a tour...More

Hi Becs. Thank you for visiting the Cathedral. I'm sorry you weren't offered a guided tour - even when our guides are not on duty, there is always the chance to use a free audio handset. Do get in touch if you're down in Devon...More

Gorgeous setting on the green and a welcome sanctuary from the cold. Majestic and beautiful . Next to the shops and a lovely green in a lovely part of Exeter . Well worth a visit.

A truly stunning cathedral. I have been to many cities in the country and therefore seen many cathedrals, however this is up there with the best. The architecture, construction and history of Exeter Cathedral really does the city proud. Well worth a visit!

We went to the Cathedral on 11 of Feb and attended at afternoon mass. The choir was amazing and the Cathedral was a unique piece of religious art. Spectacular

Thank you for visiting! The services yesterday were sung by the Cathedral Consort, and I'll pass on your praise to the music team.

I adore Exeter cathedral - it is a gorgeous structure and well worth a visit. I have visited a number of times, and have also participated in the ‘roof tours’ which are run during the spring/summer months. They are fantastic and very interesting.

Beautiful architecture and craftsmanship. I object to having to pay to go into any church/catherdral. It was £7:00 per adult, disgusting, it should be a voluntary contribution! We managed to get a discount voucher from the TIC which offered 2:1 entry. no way would I...More
