A half hour ride from Dartmouth town Quay to Agatha Christie's house, £8.50 return each, really friendly chap helping you aboard and disembark, also reminding you of the last ferry several times as you board and alight at Agatha's jetty so you don't spend the night on the Quay steps. Informative commentary from the captain. It's all good. They even... More

We had checked the times of the ferry online, with the hotel, at the ticket kiosk and in the leaflet but when we came down from the house for the 5pm Ferry it was crossed out on the sign and the helpful people on the quay said it was not running. As we had arrived by train we did not... More

Thank you for your review, should you not be writing this fr your hotel as they gave you misinformation. Firstly, you bought a return ticket for the Steam Train to Greenway, decided that it was to far to walk back and came down the Quay to catch the ferry back to Dartmouth - on the 'off chance'. You had none... More

Serves the purpose if you want to go to Greenway but note that you have to get the small ferry to get to Dittisham (and pay extra) although the signs on the kiosk make it look like this goes to Dittisham

That's right, we are a ferry. Our name is Greenway Ferry. We are nothing more than a ferry - at least you grasped that. There is no extra charge if coming from Dartmouth on the ferry to visit Dittisham - this service is complimentary, you are factually incorrect. See our website for details. Really, haven't you got anything more important... More

We had a very enjoyable Sunday day out while on holiday in Torquay, with time ashore in Dartmouth & a brief stop at Brixham to let some passengers off. The boat stayed close to the shore so we had good views, but although sunny it was a bit windy so I recommend you take a jacket/sweatshirt. We had time to... More

I do wish the ads would make it clear that the trip doesn't include entrance to Greenway. I had to read it several times. I did laugh at the part offering a 'seriene' trip - someone needs a spelling lesson. Dartmouth is beautiful, ferry people need to remember we are paying customers.

What a strange review. Everywhere in our literature we clearly state that the entrance to Greenway House is not included, on signs, on our kiosk, in our leaflets and online. We may have made a spelling mistake, but we too have to laugh about your reading skills! Why do we need to remember you are paying customers? All very odd,... More

How sad that this company has a policy 'like BR' for refunds. Quite likely but even BR excel in comparison to their customer service. Don't part with money up front and don't bother asking for a refund. If you do you are likely to be refused travel. We were told that if we filed a bad review' they would get... More

We do not give refunds to people whom have used half of their ticket and don't want to use the other half of a return. What cheeky monsters we are! You were rude to our staff, and whether we are in the service industry or not, we do not have any reason to listen to so much venom and rubbish... More

This 30minute trip to Agatha Christie's Greenway was the highlight of our day trip to the National Trust property. It is a nice sized boat run by a friendly crew. The views are absolutely stunning and on a sunny day like the one we had, it was a totally idyllic way to travel.
