I hiked the Hangman Peaks in Combe Martin - Great Hangman is the tallest cliff in the UK - and it was an awesome time. The hike itself is refreshing, the views over the cliffs towards Wales were amazing, and parts of the path are through grazing pasture land, so walking around with all the sheep was really cool.

This is a 4.5m walk from the village centre of Bucks Mills along the coastal path to Clovelly, coming finally along Hobby drive into the area near the visitor centre before descending to the harbour. The walk is through woodland, past a game bird area (great for photos), across wheat field's and there is even a rope swing in the... More

Very unique and really good for the south west tourism. Regulary visit the north Devon area which offers some fantastic scenery - Valley of rocks, Hartland Lighthouse to name a few.

We walked 5 miles on the coast path between East Portlemouth and Gara Rock and then the inland walk back from Gara Rock to East Portlemouth. The scenery is breathtaking and the cafe at Gara Rock a very lovely place to rest and take in the views over a drink before the walk back.

I walked the two mile stretch of the trail from Bideford to Appledore, which took about an hour and a quarter. Although a good walk the path is quite narrow in stretches because of overgrowth of the shrubs - and weeds. there is one small stretch with nettles, where you need to be careful. The wooden signs are broken in... More

I walked the six miles from Budleigh Salterton to Sidmouth - and now I'm hooked and want to walk more. The nature reserve at Budleigh Salterton, the patchwork of golden and green fields, the dramatic cliffs, the panoramic views in every direction, the pretty butterflies and wildflowers - all combined with hot sunny weather and good exercise. This was my... More

One of the most scenic parts of the coast path but quite hard going. The climb upto the great hangman is well worth the effort the views up and down the coast path are breathtaking (like you need that!)
