There is a 10-minute narration of the legend of King Arthur and then you go through a door and see pretty stained glass windows. Doesn't cost much, so it's something to do while in Tintagel.

Visited here after a trip to Tintagel Castle. Whether you believe in the story of King Arthur or not, this place is worth a visit . I wasn't really sure what to expect but upon entering you are told the story of King Arthur through a series of paintings. On entering the hall if you truly take the time to... More

We almost missed this wonderful place! Make sure you do not! The Legend of King Arthur is told in a brief ten minute summary (by Merlin!), while you sit the King's Court, possibly even the King's throne. A handful of fabulous paintings depict memorable events of The King's life. Be sure to take a closer look at the paintings prior... More

We are pensioners who visited here in 1980 with our two small children, so we really enjoyed this trip down memory lane! The hall is beautiful, and the stained glass windows stunning, it brings to life the legend of King Arthur. It's a great place to visit before you trek to the castle! The gentleman in the shop was very... More

Not a bad price to get in, the light shows not bad, lot of information there but, a bit dragged out. As for the great hall, that's well worth a look, lot of reading to get the info again. It may cost more, but a guided tour would be so much better, both light show and hall.

Very interesting, made seeing Tintagel Castle a complete medieval experience! I loved reading all the knights' individual stories, and marvelled at the exquisite stained glass windows. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon!
