Beautifully kept four-acre Italianate hillside gardens with lots of places to stop, rest and enjoy the views. Steep terraces lead down to a view over St Mawes and Falmouth Bay, with St Anthony's Head lighthouse. Entry was £9.50 when we went on the last day...More

We found the garden by accident. one of the most interesting gardens seen in a while. Need to be able to walk up and down steps as it is on a sloping site. Very nice cake and tea on the terrace at the end.

Lovely gardens. Plenty of variety of plants not seen unless in hotter climates. Well shaded with plenty of places to sit and talk - and flirt! The Koy-carp pool is interesting and the fish are enormous! and come right up to you.

Not the best garden we have been round, but the setting, layout and tropical features justify a visit if you are in the area. Don't expect the Lost Gardens of Heligan; it's a much smaller operation. But don't expect the screaming hordes either! Only open...More

A sub-tropical garden built on a steep hillside which enchants the visitor not just with its exotic planting but with some beautiful views to St Mawes Castle and Carrick Roadsbeyond.

Hi. Yes, there is limited but usually sufficient parking on the road outside the garden. There is also a car park in St Mawes, about 10 minutes walk away.
