The Porthminster Gallery is brilliant - a real gem. The owners really know their stuff and always have an incredible collection on show. We have bought art from them through their Own Art scheme.

They have an excellent collection of work from major producers. Some surprising Hepworth prints looked especially fresh. Highly recommend

The gallery is located at Westcotts Quay and is a short walk away from St Ives station. There is a wide range of art from local artists on display, all of which is for sale. Admission is free and we spent half an hour or...More

A nicely and we'll thought out gallery, with an interesting array of exhibits. A pleasant way to bimble around indoors, whilst appreciating local art.

A free to enter gallery displaying the work of a number of local artists and sculptors - we enjoyed the visit very much, but concluded that we couldn't offer 'house room' to anything this time!!!

We always pop in here on our way down to town, some of the art changes, much is modern & quite quirky, worth a visit

For me, the ceramics were the highlights of the offering. Some exquisite porcelain and bone china and some lovely studio pottery. Not to say that there weren't good artists' work on sale but not so stand-out in comparison with the other galleries in the town.

We always call in here on our way into town, just to see the latest exhibits & marvel at the novelty of some. It's a peaceful gallery, but the only offputting thing is the slight smell of sewage near the entrance

On the main drag yet despite having signs we decided to pop in at the last minute. Much bigger than you think we lots of beautiful pieces in different forms and all seemed to be local artists.
