Beautiful beach, miles of golden sand, part of beach is dog friendly according to some local people. We travelled here from st ives & were very confused to see the signs saying that dogs were banned, but then we could see lots of dogs on the beach! A little confusing, but we went ahead witn our dog & had a... More

Walked over the dunes and to the beach . The beach stretches for miles and is very clean. Our 2 dogs loved the beach and spent hours happily playing in the sea. We did see an adder...so best to keep a careful eye if dogs are off lead.

Lovely view well worth the drive to get there. Better for the romantics who loved Woolf's book - To the lighthouse.

probably the longest beach in south cornwall with 3 miles length. ideal for walking when the tide is out and you could walk from St. Ives to the light house! alternately walk along the sand dunes. brillient sunsets.

Love this whole stretch - visit the seals, see the beaches, check out the lighthouse... just lovely every time, rain or shine.

This part of the enormous sands here is less popular than others but still has good surf. The car park is up on the headland and is small but fine and the cafe and surf shop (also upon the headland) are excellent (great cakes) but also small. On warm days this can get busy if you don't time it right.... More

The beach is just beautiful and great for swimming and surfing. This was not our first trip to the beach but our first time surfing. We normal body board but decided this time to take a lesson surfing which was great fun. Defiantly will do again.
