A wonderful beach which has everything you need - rock pools, glorious sandy beaches, a lovely cafe, even wild seals if you walk up to the National Trust site. Fantastic place to visit - a firm favourite every year.

The beach cafe is friendly and warming with excellent staff and food. This would be a excellent place for a small wedding as they cater for that as well

This is a great beach to visit with masses of open space at low tide and travel a little around the northern corner and go and see the seals - fantastic!

Very much love this beach. With the vast stretches of coastline to wander along. Lots of little rock-pooling locations and places to watch the sunrise/sunset its a must visit location for anyone visiting this side of the country. A particular favourite of our was stopping at the Jam Pot which is lovely local run cafe just off the coastline with... More

The beach is approx. 5 minutes walk from the car park. The car park is quite big but we arrived early morning, opening at 6am and £6 for the day. Toilet facilities are on site (seasonal opening). Relaxing beach watching the waves, dogs, horses and surfers. Note:- it is windy here in April but if you wrap up warm, it's... More

This is a stunning beach protected by life guards and great for waves. We took a family holiday here and there was plenty of room for sports and sand castles without visitors being on top of each other. The Sunset surf and Gwithian Cafe's hidden in the dunes are very special and a must to visit. You can also walk... More

Worth going to look at the Seals, there are better beaches but watching the waves and looking out to the Lighthouse is nice.

We used to visit this beach of an early evening whilst staying in St Ives and love to watch the surfers and the sun go down. It's a beautiful stretch of coastline. Even in March if you're wrapped up well it's wonderful for a stroll along the water's edge.

This beach is obviously great for surfing & windsurfing, but I also love it for the views of St. Ives bay, and the fact that it's a fun, safe place to run the dog around in Winter. It's easy to get lost wandering around the dunes, but in a good way that you'll never want to leave ;)
