This beach is absolutely amazing. The surf, the sunsets - I can't believe I hadn't heard of this place. Well worth a visit. The Rockpool Cafe just nearby is a truly understated little gem that not only do excellent food, but awesome coffee too!

I walked along the whole of the beach from The Bluff in Hayle over to Gwithian and I was absolutely blown away by its beauty. I loved this place so much so I have decided that in 2018 I will be ditching the sunny climates...More

We've been to Majorca, Egypt, Spain, Tunisia, Cuba but my god, for us this is the best beach in the world. A huge stretch of golden untouched sand and sandunes to explore and play in. Sections that are dog friendly. Absolute heaven.

We love this beach! Twitching has great expanses of sandy beach and is fab for body boarding. RNLI lifeguards patrol the beach through the summer months makin if a great family friendly beach on this rugged section of the Cornish coast.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Are you allowed camp fires on the beach (safely created of course)?

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!
Which part of the beach are dogs allowed? Thanks

Response from IL1983 | Reviewed this property |
I did not see any signs for a specific area for dogs to be walked on.
