Fascinating museum with a huge amount to see. Very disappointed with the excessive number of notices saying "No photography - by any means" We are trustees at our local museum and would not dream of banning photography. No flash photography would be reasonable.

I took my 7 year old grandson here and he was fascinated. Clever idea to have a kid's competition to spot the cat models dotted around the museum to keep them interested

I tried on several occasions, and at different times, but the place remained closed - so I was unable to gain entry! I was very disappointed indeed! And reading the other reviews, I really missed something special!

There really is a bit of everything in this museum and there is bound to be something to interest everyone. It is very easy to get absorbed in reading old news clippings and looking at photos and piecing together the heritage of the area. We...More
