Idyllic beach, blue sea, golden sand, super to swim - I have swum here with a seal in the past. Can be very crowded, especially now that the beach café is busier.

A great beach just a few yards from the train station. Busier than some others, it still has great Cornish golden sand, blue sea and is very clean. Good for a walk.

We had a lovely walk on the beach in the March Winter sun. Wrapped up well and soaking up the scenery it was sheer heaven. Beautiful breathtaking views. Can't recommend it enough.

The hillside and gardens with plenty of palm trees and the kind of plants which only grow well in England in sheltered areas bring a gentle ambiance to this beach. It is but a short walk from the bus stop, and an even shorter walk...More

This has got to be one of the best beaches in this country. We took our two dogs at 7,30 every morning. The seals were also looking for breakfast. Spotlessly clean.
