We paid a very short visit to Porthmeor Beach while on holiday in the town. Out of season it was clean and inviting although the presence of dogs on the sand was disappointing.

Best beach in Cornwall where you can see the most amazing sunsets !! Downside it is popular especially during school holidays and it gets packed. There is a real problem with people getting there early picking the best spots setting up a wind break encampment....More

Lovely, hot, British. Everyone had thei4 windbreaks and umbrellas on display. The kids were all playing in the water and the grown ups were all tanning their white thighs. It was magic.

I don't believe so, mu understanding is they are allowed on from October to Easter.

If your stopping near there are buses,taxis, but as we were near the leisure centre we walked from there .there is a large car park there.
