One of the most stunning beaches in England if not the best! We went on a day trip to St Ives and it’s so beautiful there. We’ve actually decided to return for a week. Really recommend 🐬🌊

Great sandy beach, have struggled to find parking spaces close by. Shame the weather was against us and couldn't enjoy the beach to its full potential!

It was glorious and we took in every St Ives beach in the sunshine. Porthmeor is dramatic and the surfers were enjoying the waves, we just carried on walking and buildling up a thirst! Fabulous views, brilliant blue skies. Awesome

Porthmeor must be one of the most spectacular beaches in Cornwall. The breakers rolling in are a sight to behold. Perfect for surfing, walking or just relaxing.

You know that beach in your head which is paradise? Porthmeor. Not some foreign rubbish! Long stretch of proper sand, with damp rocks and a swelling surf.

Soft sandy, large, dog free during the summer. Life guards on duty during the summer. Good surf, very clean beach. Dogs are allowed before and after the main part of the summer day, just so you know.

We’ve been on this beach on or around Summer for nearly 20 years. My kids think this is “the seaside” and love it still. For very young kids then Porthwiggen is probably better but very much smaller. Love St Ives and love this beach.

How lovely to stand in the middle of this breathtaking beach and not have to share it with anyone! The Sea was Turquoise and the sun turned the sand to sparkling white..sheer heaven! Litter free as well. Just opposite the Tate Modern with a most...More

Porthmeor West for Pizzas and drinks, The main Porthmeor beach Cafe with great food and views. The beach gets good surf and there is an awesome surf school there with a fantastic team of surf coaches. Highly recommend.

Real tourist sands onto the warm Atlantic drift. Lots of deck chairs. Even floats to go into the sea and dingies. Swimming and paddling great fun Coast guards .
