A beautiful beach. Much more peaceful than some of the others in the area, and gets the best sunset views and some shelter from the wind around the other side of the town.

Nice little sandy beach with lovely clear seas!! Kids had a lovely couple of hours digging and paddling - very clean and tidy.

A beautiful setting close to the centre of St Ives with golden sand. A lovely cafe with a separate take away facility and both public toilets and life guards

This beach has to be one of the best in the British Isles - park up the hill and walk down - much better without a car!

Lovely beach, suitable for surfing, 2 cafes/restaurants porthmeor cafe and west. Both great with surf shop and beach shop and ice cream. Toilets in the car park, good views and fabulous sunsets.

Main beach in st ives for surfing. Has a surf school but we didn't use it. Great cafe as well. Manned by Lifeguards too

Lovely beach with rocks at either end but clean golden sand between. this beach is a favourite with surfers and plenty going on to watch

If your stopping near there are buses,taxis, but as we were near the leisure centre we walked from there .there is a large car park there.
