You can't go wrong with St Ives beaches. Just arrive early if you want to park. Facilities nearby are perfect -- plenty of variety for eating and drinking. Clean toilets around. Clean sandy beach.

On any day, rain, sun or snow Porthmear is simply beautiful. It is located in the heart of St.Ives and offers stunning walks along the coastline of Cornwall.

This is a really nice beach with sand and lots of space to sun bathe. There is parking but it is also for the train station.
