What a lovely little museum. It has been very well thought out and all of the sculptures are well displayed with plenty of space to look at all of them from all angles. The landscaping of the garden has been untouched from Barbara herself and...More

I'll be honest, I wouldn't have visited if it had meant travelling. However, my first visit was a wet day so beach was off and in we went. I must be mellowing with age as I found this place utterly fascinating. The shape and form...More

A beautiful garden enhanced by fabulous sculpture. Much more behind the door to the museum than I had expected.

Although this is a small museum it is packed with interesting facts about Barbara Hepworth and her life. There are stunning sculptures both inside the house and outside in the garden. It really is worth the short walk up the steep hill.

Rare and privileged opportunity to visit the garden and home of one of the United Kingdom’s great artists. The sculptures are displayed in a pleasant garden setting. One can see where she worked and get some idea of the sort of life she lived.

We didn’t have long, but I’d bought myself a combined ticket from the Tate and the kids get in free, so I didn’t want to miss out. It’s smaller than I’d realised, so perfect for a short visit. If we’d had more time, we’d have...More
