I had heard of Hepworth, and thought of her as something of Henry-Moore sort of sculptor. Big abstract works. This isn't something I usually gravitate towards, but finally I went to see the museum, garden and studio. It helped that the day was beautiful. It would be possible to do this in light rain, but it would be best if... More

Great place in the centre of town. Brilliant guide really set the scene by giving us insight into Barbara & her life which is reflected in her work. Great location & wonderful examples of Barbara's work. Work a visit.

This place is a real oasis of quiet beauty in the middle of St Ives and I feel beats the main Tate hands down but you can get a cheaper combined ticket for both there. It is in Barbara Hepworth's own house and stunning gardens. You will be surrounded with stunning and priceless works of art in an incredible location.... More

This is a gem, tucked away in the heart of St Ives. There is an over rising sense of peace and tranquility here as well as a beautiful garden full of stunning Hepworth sculptures. Great place for kids to learn about sculpture

The sculptures are beautiful. There are some smaller ones inside but it is the garden that takes your breath away. Around the careful p!anting, sculptures appear to be in total harmony with their surroundings. An incredibly talented lady.

Really enjoyed wandering around Hepworth's house and garden. Full of amazing sculpture. Take time to sit in the greenhouse and soak up the atmosphere. We were lucky as it was sunny and we had it to our selves.

It is as if Barbara has just stepped out. A moving experience and wonderful to be able to feel all the wonderfully tactile sculptures. An excellent guided tour which brought it all to life.
