I suppose you just need to be lucky. I rode down here on the bike one day whilst camping in Gwithian. I'd booked a ticket for a show, and having found the venue sat in beautiful weather, a sunset, the waves crashing against the rocks below, and a good performance put on in front of me. Comfy grass lined seats,... More

What a great sight to see and a wonderful story behind it. I was unaware of its existence and now I can't wait to go back and hopefully see a play here one day. It has to be seen to be appreciated. Lots of hard work goes into maintaining this theatre and in my view is worth the few pounds... More

This is such a wonderful setting, amazing story of its construction and just breath taking. Amazing. We didn't see a performance, sadly, but it's an absolutely place just to look around, and ponder the shows that have been done there.

We recently (April 2016) saw a production of Oliver at this stunning theatre venue. Although early in April it was a beautiful clear dry evening which inevitably meant it turned chilly as the sun set. Fortunately we came prepared for the weather and wrapped up warm. The seats are grass or stone so bring a cushion and hire a comforter... More

This I s just not where you would build a theatre, but I'm glad she did. To think of the effort that went into such a brilliant arena and the effort make to create, maintain and improve it are beyond belief. Well worth the entry money and the effort of getting there (we walked). It also has a nice cafe... More

We have visited the stunning Porthcurno beach the last 3 years and have put off visiting Minnack until we no longer had buggy aged children. The sun was shining today which only added to the breath taking veiws of the clear turquoise sea and Porthcurno white sand beach. The history of Rowena Cades vision and creation of this simply unique... More

Went to the Minack Theater with my wife on our honey moon back in March last year. I have to say this place is an absolute gem. I was so excited to be here, the gorgeous view, the breathtaking sea and the beautiful view of the cliffs near by. The cafe here is just a place to have tea must,... More

Even if the theatre wasn't there , it would be worth visiting Porthcurno as the coast is absolutely spectacular . However, there is a theatre there and what a spectacular place it is.The information on how it was built is absolutely incredible. I knew nothing about it prior to our visit and was amazed by the acheivement of what was... More

Everything about this theatre is amazing. We saw Oliver, by Act Now Entertainment and it was just wonderful despite the fact it was a cold, wet evening... You'd never have known!!! The staff were helpful and smiley and obviously the setting is just breath taking. A MUST when you're visiting Cornwall!!
