It was worth the million steps down to the restaurant on the beach but the delicious food and gorgeous sunset made up for the hike up in the end.

My first time here and the place was gorgeous! The steps up and down definitely provide a workout. I went with friends to see William The Conqueror and the venue was great, bar staff friendly. (Although don't try to get drinks in the restaurant if you're at a gig, they don't like it.) Toilets are in a block outside which... More

My grandaughter got married here last week and it was wonderful. It was a lovely wedding day in a stunning setting , Lusty Glaze pull all the stops out to make it memorable . The 133 steps are a bit hard and tiring but the wow factor is there when you get to the bottom . Thank you to the... More

What a venue, unique and breathtaking. The wonderful voices of 'The Three Tenors' were amazing and the 'boys' gave us two encores! The hot buffet, prior to the concert, was absolutely scrumptious. Expertly served with hot top-ups during service. Thank you to all Lusty staff for a truly amazing, happy, evening.

Just waking up this morning after another fabulous evening at this glorious venue. The wonderful view of the sun going down set the scene for a beautiful evening. After being greeted with a glass of bubbly we settled down to listen to the Sounds of The Saffron Quartette. Then on to the the sumptious banquet of such an amazing mix... More

My new wife and I can't thank the amazing Lusty Glaze team enough for looking after us and our guests at our wedding on Easter Saturday! Each and every member of staff weren't just friendly, but engaging and almost excited before, throughout and after the wedding day. The organisation was thorough and faultless. Their ability to put up with our... More

Revisited Lusty with girlfriend for a evening out on our Easter holiday. We'd previously been last year and enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly however unorganised. We were being asked by 4 different staff if we had ordered drinks which we ended up waiting 15 minutes for. The staff didn't seem to know the menu very well when we... More

Had the absolute pleasure staying in The Chalet at Lusty Glaze for a week at the end of March. This place is simply stunning - quiet, chilled and a fantastic place to unwind. Apart from a few walkers with their dogs in the morning the beach was effectively ours for the day and it really is the most beautiful of... More

We visited Lusty Glaze on a sunny day in November as we were in the area, and it is just beautiful. Although we only stopped by the restaurant for a few brief moments the staff were all very welcoming and polite, and helpful.

If you want the beach literally to yourself then go in November. Many happy days of my childhood spent there. 133 steps down to the bottom. The restaurant looked amazing, definitely worth a visit. Only downside car parking. At £1.80 an hour all year round, expensive.
