If you want the beach literally to yourself then go in November. Many happy days of my childhood spent there. 133 steps down to the bottom. The restaurant looked amazing, definitely worth a visit. Only downside car parking. At £1.80 an hour all year round, expensive.

We always come here when we visit Newquay. Beach is beautiful and the dogs love exploring here. The restaurant never disappoints either.

This visit to Newquay led us to lusty for lunch instead of dinner. We had the surf n turf complemented with the best hot chocolate ever. Until next year. Keep up the great service.

We had a wonderful time on this brilliant beach. So peaceful. So pretty! Lots of interesting history stuff too about the iron ore and the canal.

You can climb into the caves, walk along the sea front, stroll along the cliff tops or have a swim! Gorgeous beach!! Lovely looking restaurant wish we'd had time to go! Beach access signs aren't very clear besides that perfect!

Lusty glaze beach can be found on the outskirts of the town of Newquay, it has vast stretches of golden sand when the tide goes out. There are lots of rock pools & caves for the children to explore & of course lots of space to build sand castles etc. The only thing with this beach is access as there... More

Wow! The restaurant on the beach has fantastic views, great staff very friendly nothing to much trouble, dog friendly with blankets and water, lovely atmosphere candles, fairy lights and quirky tables, draped ceiling. Great tasty food. The beach is very safe small when the tide is in, water sports and activities available. Has to be our favourite beach in Newquay.

We (group of 9 adults and children) visited here on the day of the Beach tag rugby tournament so there was a great atmosphere with fantastic sunshine. This beach is sheltered from the wind by cliffs all around and once we parked our car at the top of this cove (£4.50 for the day) and made our way down the... More

This beach is just out of Newquay town. The view is spectacular. Steps down to the beach where there was lots going on. Car park was quite expensive. Cafe /hotel on the top which was lovely. This was b/h weekend so a busy lively place. Really worth a visit if you don't mind steps.
