This is an ideal place for toddlers and young children. You travel in on a little kids train which is a nice little journey and arrive at the main area. There is two more kids trains to go on, canoeing, crazy golf, indoor play area...More

It is misleading to call it a railway, it is a children's theme park, but not one with big wheels or big rides. The railway comes into it as you travel by a small steam train the get there. Very pretty and a pleasant ride...More

Myself, my partner and our 2 year old twins absolutely love Lappa Valley from the ticket office through to the trains, play areas, cafe and the secret little paddling lake where there's a big Green for picnics on sunny days. Not only that, the annual...More

We came with a 13mth baby who is crawling but not walking yet. We were in awe of the stunning setting of this railway and the plentiful and thoughtful play areas. Soft play indoors for the babies through to a playing field and big adventure...More

Slightly disappointed. From looking at an advert in a brochure and what I had seen of Trip advisor, I expected more. The park was smaller than anticipated and everything seemed a bit tired. That said, we made the best of it and enjoyed our day.

Fabulous place. When you park up it doesn't look much but once you get onto the little steam train it takes you to a hive of activity for the kiddies. We enjoyed the canoes adventure park and crazy golf. Took a ride on two more...More

Pricy enough for a family of 4, but a lot of activities. The food in the cafe was reasonably priced and tasted fine. The kids loved the mini trains and the canoeing, well worth a visit.

Yes, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. We charge £1.00 per dog and they are permitted on the Steam Railway, canoe boats and Newlyn Downs Branch Line.
