Only a ten-minute walk along a coastal path to Old Polzeath, the beach is well known for its surf, which makes it ideal for Malibu and body surfing.

A must see and go to when in the area. We were very luck with the weather and even went surfing. It can get very busy during the summer but our visit was perfect as not too busy.

We only stopped at 'The Waterfront' for coffee but were tempted on to the beach for a paddle. It must be wonderful in good weather although we chose a changeable, cold day. Friends at home stay here regularly so we decided to investigate. There did...More

Top beach and surf. Weather was good which helps. Lots of rock pools and walks for the kids and when the tide is out huge huge beach to muck about on. Lifeguards are top people and you feel really safe. Also very friendly to kids...More

Nice beach, clean, parking very close, easy access even for the elderly. Lots for surfers, can make it a squeeze for playing with kids in the sea, but still a great place for half a day family beaching

The beach at Polzeath is great for all the family. Parking is hard to find on busy days due to the fact the beach is first class and super clean! Would definitely recommend a visit.

We come back here every year to go belly-boarding - yes good old fashioned wooden boards and definitely no wet suit! It is a patrolled beach and so we feel safe.

A large sandy beach (particularly at low tide), close car park, a few restaurants, couple of shops, toilets available, good for surfing. Ticks all the boxes a beach should!

Usually crowded, but for good reason. There is great surf here, plenty of nearby shops (spar, Ann's cottage) as well as a few places to eat (I would recommend the sandbar), although the town itself isn't huge. The sand here is especially nice and you'll...More

Polzeath provides the perfect location for a one-stop, safe, lifeguarded beach with everything you could need in one location. There is easy access to the sand directly from the on-beach car parking site which has plentiful car parking (for which you have to pay, but...More
