    Must go to beach
We love this beach so much. My 11yr old daughter wants to live there when she’s older. Absolutely amazing time there. Beautiful beach, blue water. What more can you ask for other than hot days.

    Incredible beach with hardworking lifeguards!
Fantastic beach, lifeguards work incredibly hard to ensure the safety of everyone - the waves are huge which is great for surfing (or body boarding) but it was shocking the amount of people who ignored the flags. Everywhere in cornwall seems dog friendly but this beach is huge so even when busy it wasn't a problem for us. Lovely sand and just a great beach!

    Excellent.
Great beach Massive waves the sea did go deep Suddenly quite close to shore. Life guards on the ball and keeping everyone in the right places. My husband and kids hired wetsuits and body boards and loved it.

Happy days with all the family including the dog
I visit cornwall a few times a year love the place especially Fistral beach and crantock beach, as there is something for everybody including dogs! Although I can say some dog owners give us a bad reputation. Fistral beach is expansive and plenty of room, what happens is everybody tries to find a spot close to the facilities and carpark making it feel congested and during the school hols well what can I say!

    A pure delight
I always love this beach and in October it's lovely to see the dogs enjoying it too. The beach was a little busy and there were surfers at the far side. A lovely clean beach with plenty of walks nearby.

Nice beach but was very busy
We visited here whilst holidaying down in Cornwall. Upon arrival the beach was quite busy and we drove a while looking for somewhere to park. We spent a good few hours here, weather was a slight breeze but the sun was out. We brought food with us so cannot comment on the food places. Toilets were clean and not too far to walk. I would visit here again but in my opinion Crantock beach is the best beach we are yet to have been to down this area. Parking was £8.50 so wasnt cheap for the few hours we spent here but there didnt seem to be anywhere else to park much cheaper.

    Favourite UK beach
Ive been coming to this beach for years and have always loved it! The vibes on this beach are unreal, surrounded by surfers, bars and camper vans! Every visit to this beach has been amazing. It’s dog friendly and the safety flags are always out for people in the sea so it feels very safe. The bars are right on the beach and are lovely to sit at in the evenings! My boyfriend had surfing lessons on this beach and highly enjoyed his surfing experience. Highly recommended for families and people looking to give surfing a go.

    Glorious get away
For our wedding anniversary get away we decided to go somewhere we hadn’t yet . The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room s decor was warm and relaxing with beautiful views across the bay .The bathroom had a shower with a separated bath . Quality complementary products were available for guests. The hotel also had a gym &pool with a Sauna , steam room and jacuzzi to relax. The bar served an amazing array of food and drinks . The hotel also had a fine dining restaurant which unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to experience. This was our 1st visit hopefully on our next visit we will get the chance! Thank you to ALL the staff of the Fistral hotel for your hospitality.

    Beautiful, big beach
Beautiful big beach, a few eateries right on the beach front and a headland you can walk on next to it. Lots of surfers and some surf shacks too. Can’t comment on the price of parking as I didn’t use it but there was a sign saying pricing changed from 22nd march!

    Slightly disappointing!
My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday. Being March, we picked somewhere with an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa, in case of bad weather. Unfortunately, the pool was too cold and the jacuzzi was out of order. We were not informed if this prior to our arrival. As this was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel, this was very disappointing. Upon mentioning this to the Receptionist, they merely informed us that others had also commented on the pool temperature. No apology and not even an offer of a drink at their expense. I have since emailed the hotel and not even received a response. Positives however are: the treatments were excellent. As was the evening meal in the restaurant and the sea view room was superb.

A fantastic, sandy, dog friendly beach that has some of the best surfing in the UK. We've visited several times and want to keep returning. I would definitely recommend this beach to anyone.

Gorgeous beach for a walk. Swimmers and surfers hanging here so busy. Lifeguards in attendance too. Spotlessly clean beach with a breeze. Food and toilets also available with restaurants and take away options.

Beautiful clean beach, we went on a very windy day so didn't stay long, just enough time to watch some of the English National Surfing Championship and find some shells. Would love to return on a less windy day to spend more time down there

As a local i unfortunately avoid this beach now due to the privately run car park attached to it who are out to make money out of unfair fines
Won’t use it out of principle now
