We stayed in a hotel close to the beach for a couple of nights, sunset was impressive and there's plenty to do drink and food wise. Surf looks good, and seemed to always be busy when we visited.

The beach is lovely, big and the waves were brilliant for learning to surf in. It was easy to walk to either from streets or the scenic public footpaths!
