No matter when I visit, this beach is always spectacular. In the off-season, it's wonderful to see people bring their dogs and warm up with a hot chocolate from the cafe and in the summer it's the perfect place to go for a swim in the crystal clear water.

This is one of my families favourite spots to visit when we come to Cornwall. Nice little beach which is popular with all ages and dog walkers. Lots of sea activities available too. The beach cafe serves fantastic food and loans out ponchos and hot water bottles so you don't get too cold. Have to pay for winter parking now... More

Reasonable walk from Falmouth along the coast and cheerful cafe with amazing ice creams to greet you. Benches by swanpool and car park. I then caught the coast hopper bus back to town but they were infrequent so check times.

A small local beach easily accessible by car with pay and display parking. Excellent cliff path walks, safe swimming, sand, cafe and posher restaurant, Swan pool a few metres away which is beautiful and home to a an extremely rare form of algae called the 'trembling sea mat' and pitch and putt. Kayaks and beach huts for rent along with... More

this is Falmouth's second most popular beach and get busy in summer , plenty to do and loads of space , café on site and watersports available , does suffer from major seaweed in winter though , also opposite is the swanpool nature reserve and gilly beach is a 10min walk away

I love Swanpool Beach - but only if I walk and take a picnic. Parking used to be free out of season and you used to buy a ticket of the parking man in the summer and get a free cuppa tea. No longer - pay and display and cameras so don't get caught out. Great safe place to swim... More

The cafe on the beach serves this ice cream made with clotted cream, and it is incredible! It also has a little crazy gold pitch near by if you fancied a break from being on the beach, but the beach itself isn't really anything special. There's also a lovely big pond nearby which is gorgeous. Lots of lovely things.

You have to visit the little cafe on the beach and try one of the amazing ice creams - my favourite is the Hedge hog - cornish ice cream, clotted cream and roasted hazlenuts!!

This bay and beach is well run by a local family and is an ideal place for small children and families to play and relax. The cafe is excellent and crazy golf is just across the road.
