Walked the dog here before a day of activities in the area. Glad for the paved sections due to poor weather at the time. Possibly not the best time to visit but still a good environment to walk and safe for kids etc.

Excellent place that has been lovingly cared for and is being kept popular by the excellent parkrun. It’s a shame a small proportion of dog walkers won’t clean up after their animals. Enjoy the long stretches!
Just by Chester city five minutes from river the walls quiet place to sit chill eat ,little train for children lovely park squirrels birds lots the river has a nice boat ride there is a city bus tour ,lots to do
We attended the parent and child Bushcraft Brunch session then went for a long walk around the park. It is obvious that the workers love the site and do everything they can to enhance the natural ecology.
