Visited with the The Arts Society Tarporley. Lots of interesting pictures accompanied by an excellent guide from the museum. Also a good film of the very beginnings of Chester.

Can be combined with the nearby Amphitheatre for a pleasant stroll to or from the Dee.. Some Roman ruins within the well maintained and attractive gardens. Lots of grey squirrels running around, too.

The simple answer is yes. There are steps but with side slopes that are not too steep. Well worth looking at.
