It was nice to walk along the river. Nice place for relaxation. There are restaurants and ice cream kiosk for refreshments. There are boat rides available. The Grosvenor Park is nearby.

I go here quite a lot a nice stroll around the river, watch the ducks and swans, take a boat trip, have a beer, best in the summer though.

Absoloutely lovely to walk alone, especially when the sun is shining - and there's lots of stalls for an ice cream too! The river is also in a prime location, right by Grovesnor park and the city centre, making it well worth a visit

It's a lovely place just to walk along, visit one of the coffee shops restaurants or just an ice cream, go on a boat trip short or long, take a boat out if you feel brave, the park is just a short walk away,

Chester is a wonderful town for walking, in addition to walking the walls and canals, there is a beautiful trail along the river. There are also inexpensive 30 minute river tours available that will show you many of the lovely homes facing the river.
