Very Roman

Very much about the history of the city like the Romans and all their heritage the only downside was some school kid walked in to me.

There is a great deal to see here for families the History of Great City. Once this has been visited it is time to walk the wall and identify what it was like in the past.

Excellent free facility close to the main shopping precinct. Fascinating collection of Roman artifacts and a unique collection of Roman grave stones.

We went to see a photographic exhibition of Polar scenes by Sue Flood which was terrific. The staff were friendly, there was no charge or mention of a donation. The historical info on Chester is interesting and we'll definately return to see the bits we didn't have time to investigate.

Nice little museum, no set entrance fee but they suggest a donation of £3 per person. We spent about an hour there and visited all the rooms. We found the Victorian house to be the most interesting part.

Called in by chance for a break, after walking around the walls, and me and my 8 year old son were very pleasantly surprised. The Roman relics were brilliant and well presented, and the photo exhibition was interesting. Also activities for my son to do.And all for free!(made donation of course)!
