Nice walk

Nice walk. They have been repaired and the walk around the walls is pleasant. The part near the cathedral is the best for me

Take a walk along the walls of Chester and you won't be disappointed. History surrounds you and you can just feel the bl Romans about! We walked by the he clock tower which gives you in a magnificent view overlooking the shopping area and the hehe famous Grosvenor Hotel.

Not easily accessible for those with mobility issues but if you can walk along these walls they are a little warren of history that will take you through this beautiful city. Along the way there are some signs to give you information on what happened or how that area became about.

a nice walk with good views and it takes in the main parts of Chester to visit. there is a part by the river which isn't walled in but other than that it is entirely pedestrian

Excellent views. Easy walk taking in the Cathedral, River Dee, and race course. Started at the clock of Eastgate and walk all round in about 11/2 hours

Well worth the Walk get a good view of chester and surrounding area. Good for a gentle stroll. There is various access and exits to the town, cathedral etc can be a few steps in places but most of them have a ramp.

The Walls of Chester is an easy walk around. You can get hold of a little map so you can follow it around, but it's obvious of course in places where you can see the wall. On the way round are many pretty scenes especially along the river. Lots of pubs and cafes to pop into.

We thoroughly enjoyed our city wall walk on what was a very bitter cold morning. It had points of interest backed up with information along the way. Lots of opportunities to step off and explore along the way too.
