Lovely well cared for gardens, beautiful place for a leisurely stroll or picnic. Very dog friendly with clean facilities and nice tea room.

Pleasantly surprised at this place... gardens are well maintained with extensive grounds to walk around. The tea room was a nice stop offering usual café goods at reasonable prices. It would have been nice to have some sort of access to part of the castle...More

The gardens are amazing and really peaceful. The tea room offers a good range of refreshments, and there is a nice play area for children.

Cholomondeley is stunning at the moment azeleas just about at their best. Tatton park gardens are worth a visit and Ness gardens on the Wirral too

Early Spring to see the beautiful bulbs late spring for the rhododendrons, summer for glorious flowers and autumn for the vivid colours of trees.
