Visited on Monday 15th May. Self guided tour with an audio guide. Starts with a short video presentation and you then walk from room to room. Ends with another video presentation about how the fens were drained. Totally unrelated to Cromwell but interesting nonetheless! Found it a bit pricey at £4.50 for admission - no concessionary prices for students or... More

We first went there about half an hour before closing but the lovely lady at the desk why don't we pop in and... More

For such a small venue with only one theme, this is a value-for-money place to learn a lot about Ely's most celebrated son.

For those interested in learning about Cromwell or 17th Century history this is a must. Interesting factual knowledge gained from various resources. Near Ely Cathedral too. Good value. Gift shop only.

It was a beautiful house and very very interesting information given as you went from room to room. I learnt more here about him than I did in school! Still not sure if all his actions were good. Well worth a visit if only to make up your own mind about him.🤔

Worth a visit to this historical attraction which was the home of Oliver Cromwell. Lots of interesting facts about Cromwell and his family and about the happenings of the time.
