Nice link from riverside to town

Covers quite a large area from the riverside up to just below the cathedral. A pleasant walk, good place for a picnic.

A lovely open space to enjoy the fresh air when you track from the river-side into the town center. Upon reaching the top, cross the road and go straight-over, continuing upward on a gravel path to reach the cathedral and Oliver Cromwell's house.

Lovely green sapce that was created as the result of a community led campaign. Nice play equipment for children to play on and a beautiful sculpture of a n eeel.

Excellent visual and chill-out space. Fabulous views of Cathedral in background and runs down to river. Great outdoor space, kiddies playground and bandstand and sitting areas - but space to escape if want. Close to facilities - Cutter Inn is lovely and Geoff in the vintage ice-cream van by Babalyon Bridge and Waterside Antiques is a must visit - yummy!

New park over the road from the Cathedral grounds on way to the river side / canal front walk. Built in honour for the Queen’s jubilee celebrations & opened by the Duke of Edinburgh on 11 Feb 2002. Nice flowers / memorial gardens inside park to right hand side, winter & summer & dry gardens garden too. Seating to relax... More

One of my most favourite places to watch the world go by Last time spent with a glass of wine and with chips from Alan's on Broadstreet. Watching the summer sky with Ely Cathedral in view too. Simple pleasures
