You can see this from the back side of St. John's college. I would recommend paying and going through that college first. The architecture of that entire college was impressive.

Visited here during the punting on the river. This is a beautiful bridge within the St John College.

Saw this when we were punting up the river. Far smaller than the one in Venice but still very nice. A good landmark for Cambridge.

A very interesting part of Cambridge and the River Cam, observed and discussed during punting tours.

Especially nice to have seen it whilst punting underneath on the River Cam. A great place from which to watch the punters.

There are so many wonderful bridges - but this one must take first prize! So named as it resembles the famous bridge in Venice.

It’s an interesting spot to see on the river. Best seen from a boat. Nice part of Cambridge history.

Couldn't reach this by land as St Johns college was sadly closed to visitors. Took the punt tour instead which gave fab views and a little history. Did some engineering students suspend a car underneath it ? Just about to google that.

Yes, there is a large WW2 American cemetery just to the north of Cambridge. Not easily walkable for the Bridge of Sighs. Bus or taxi
