Magdalene college was founded by King Henry VIII in 1542 and is free to visit. Famous scholars in Magdalene were Samuel Pepys and C. S. Lewis.

Fantastic living history full of character. Make sure you time visit so you can see Peyps Library. First Court small and comfortable must be great place to study

Beautiful place, tranquil and historical. The college houses Samuel Peyps library in it's entirety. The old books and manuscript's are wonderful to see.
