I have visited here more than once and probably will again next time i go to Cambridge on Holiday. Old, cold and beautiful and the climb to the top of the tower is totally worth it. It is not really that high.

Climbing up the tower is a challenge because the steps are narrow and worse when you see another group going the opposite direction. the air in the tower is also dusty.

This is a fabulous old church that has been at the centre of University life from the beginning. Being so large it is often used for big occasions to save going to Ely or Peterborough. The Justice Service was held here in Autumn 2018. Be...More

Beautiful church, adjacent to the market and King's College. The "must see" element is the view from the top of the tower. It is quite a climb and I had to use the Asthma Inhaler and have a rest at the top. Nevertheless, it was...More

I went into Great St. Mary's and there was a piano concert happening by a 16 year old; quite impressive. It was nice to sit down and relax for a bit while enjoying the playing. On a previous occasion I have climbed the stairs of...More

We climbed the steps to the top Of this tower and it was well worth the climb! The view from the top was breathtaking. Even though it was windy and not very clear you could still identify the surrounding buildings. It’s a little claustrophobic at...More
