We went to this restaurant for a family Sunday meal. Great service, great food and good value. If you want a fantastic meal with wonderful atmosphere

Been an infrequent visitor here for nearly 50 years. This Pub has had various incarnations and has recently been acquired from Brains brewery by Butcombe brewery. Range of beer less satisfying than previously and a recent early evening dinner was adequate without being anything special....More

Great traditional village pub, good beers and food, reasonably priced, owner very helpful, letting you sample the ales. Well worth a visit

A leaving party from work for nine people. Some of us were on time and some late. The staff were very helpful, Rachel did everything to try to fit in with us. Six real ales on and a good choice. Food was a good selection...More

Booked in for Sunday lunch and although the food was nice it was let down by incredibly slow service. It took a while to take our order and then it was a very long wait (40 mins) for the food to arrive. Very disappointing.More
