Lovely gardens and views

We enjoyed the views from the top of the tower. It is a steep climb, but it is worth it. The grounds are kept very nicely too.

I wouldn' t call it beautiful, but Brandon Hill Park is a pleasant place to wander, even on a cold and wet day. And the panoramic views from the top (by the tower) are spectacular. Not sure why its called a Nature Park (yeah, there's trees and grass and a fair few birds, but nothing out of the ordinary). Still,... More

Very nice walk out when the sun is out (or not!) Very windy though as the hill is exposed from its surroundings, make sure you make the climb up to Cabot Tower! it'll be worth it!

A lovely stroll - don't miss the tower! Great park to amble around, good views on the ground or from the tower (free entry, lots of winding steps).

Excellent views from the top of Cabot Tower, well worth the climb up. Lovely park, perfect for lunchtime picnics and escape the hectic city centre. Very well maintained.

It's a decent park on a sunny day but there are nicer parks in Bristol like St George Park or the Downs

Despite the views from the top, I do not rate this place at all highly. I much preferred the Arnos Vale Cemetery just outside the main city. Brandon Hill could do with some more imaginative planting. I suggest they might get some good ideas from the Morrab Gardens, Penzance. I'm sure at least some of the sub-tropical trees and plants... More
