Recoomended to visit by Bristol Museum staff! Very worthwhile. Wel set up and displayed. Gives a snapshot of the life of the house and the history of the merchants and slave trade. Helpful staff.

Well worth a visit. Beautiful and interesting Georgian house with period furnishings. Interesting details regarding the family that lived there and their involvement in sugar plantations and the slave trade.

Not large, but a good stop off if you are walking up Park Street to go to the museum. It's a fascinating place for historians, particularly those with an interest in the Georgians. The staff were very helpful and very ever to help your experience....More
