we visited this church by chance as passing through when we spotted the open door,we were greeted by a friendly enthusiastic lady who showed us around and told us about the interesting history of the church,she took us upstairs to the organ loft where the trust had uncovered ancient murals and work is being undertaken to restore these murals ,she... I disagree with the review immediately preceding this one - in that I do not see the Church as having to endure an area. Had it not been for the fine work of the Church Conservation Trust, I would not have known anything of this Church, let alone come to a point where I now play the Church Organ here... More

An historical gem of a church inset on the old city town walls, however as I found with much of bristol it is surrounded by run down, questionable bohemian establishments seemingly ignoring and in somecases obscuring the real history and culture of this city. Cannabis in the air, middle eastern flags, graffiti and litter seems to be the current climate... More
