Took the Avon Gorge cruise - it was a surprise gift. 8 of us in total were thrilled to learn of the history surrounding Bristol's floating harbor, the locks and the gorge. There is a small bar on board - all in all, a very...More

We booked this trip for my father-in-law's & my mother's birthdays-both in their 80s. Ok the weather wasn't brilliant in fact it rained the whole trip. But lucky we were on the glass boat Bagheera so fully enclosed. We were seated comfortably with plenty of...More

We had a lovely family day out on the Bristol Packet to celebrate my father's birthday. The boat was on time, clean, appeared to have a bar (but it was before lunch so didn't investigate properly) and had a very interesting commentary from a friendly...More

We took and boat trip as a rest from the Great Britain, (still had the museum to do) we needed a sit down. It was a great boat, and the two crew were very good. We are both disabled but we were helped on and...More

Had a nice trip on board. It has loos and refreshments. The skipper was knowledgeable. The trip is just round the harbour. It killed some time.

City docks tour of 45mins with commentary short, intermittent 10 mins commentary of nothing special. Same sights and information can be found with a free 30 mins walk along the docks.

This trip has so much potential given the amount of things to see and do around the waterfront in Bristol harbour, not to mention the history surrounding the area. That said, I was really disappointed with the tour, it was lacking in meaningful narration, we...More

My justification for this title is: 1. The actual travelling time of this trip is nowhere near forty five minutes. Whichever point you start from the boat stops at a second point to collect more passengers. With the time this consumes and a further period...More

We booked this trip in advance £15:50 each the cruise was 3 half hours long , apparently these trips are limited due to tidal weather conditions. The boat was a glass roofed type it had refreshments on board with toliet facilities. Most of the seating...More

Due to a dodgy hip at the moment needed something that would be enjoyable for both my visiting sister and myself. The Avon Gorge Boat Trip was potentially the perfect option as we were brought up at Pill and our grandfather was a hobbler (river...More

Just over an hour each way and an hour and a half stop for lunch - depends on the other traffic on the river and the lock.

Hi. I would recommend a Tour Of Dockside Pubs. We can do smaller groups from £375. All our boats have bars onboard and you can play your own music through our sound system. Perfect for a hen do. Give us a call on 0117 926... More

Well their boats seem to be used all the time. It is not a massive organisation with a big office staff. I think there is just the one person. Might be a good idea to go down there as you live in Bristol.
