Friends and I went on a dockside trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As well as enjoying the view, we were impressed by how well looked after we were. The crew, were exceptionally courteous, we could hop on and off the boats at different points. The safety standards were extremely high. Even for a stop of only a few minutes the... More

This must be the best 90 pence worth in Bristol. Yes it's short, but the crossing over the wide river gives excellent views of this most wonderful of cities. We went from the Arnolfini side to the SS Great Britain dock. There was something different and exciting in waiting for the little yellow ferry boat to come over.

We walked to the SS Great Britain and fancied something different on the way back. Checked the timetable and one of the ferries was due so jumped on board. The fare is realistic and we all had fun waving at everyone who we passed. Looking forward to the next journey.

Took my parents on it when we visited Bristol, did the complete tour. It was a nice way to relax between all the walks we did, sitting while enjoying the sites.

Have done the trip many times now and it is great in the summer to see what is happening locally. Cheap trip and leisurely so you can hop on and off as they run regular trips. The boats always make me think of the Beryl Cook picture!

We bought an all day pass as we were not sure how many trips we would need the ferry for. As it was it turned out be the right decision. Although some of the distances are not huge the efficiency of the service enables you to get around the various tourist locations quickly. We found the crew to be professional... More
