Unfortunately the Arnolfini was closed when we were in Bristol, but if you visit the gallery, it's well worth dropping in on the Architecture Centre afterwards or before. We've an interest in design and architecture, so we enjoyed the exhibit in its own right. It...More

Loved the exhibit on Garth England, the milkman-artist drawing what he remembered from his youth. Also the concept of drawing what you recall from your childhood. Unfortunately I was expecting much more than a small room of drawings. I thought that it would address the...More

As an ex architecture student I found this museum and gallery really interesting. The building itself is very trendy and an interesting conversion and the exhibits were well displayed and highly fascinating to someone who is interested. Due to the niche nature of the centre...More

A wonderful place to visit if you ever find yourself in the area with a spare half an hour. Also worth looking on their website to see any upcoming events as they often have little things aimed at children going on.

Anyone with even a passing interest in architecture or design should check this out; the current exhibition was incredibly inspiring to a couple looking to self-build on a budget. It's a small place so can be done in 60-90 minutes, between a coffee and a...More
