What a view over Bristol and Clifton with georgian style houses. Visit Bristol and u must se this great suspension bridge. A real ingengering masterpice.

One of Bristol's most iconic attractions. The view alone from the bridge is worth a visit to see, but the main thing is walking across the bridge, and learning it's history, but I would recommend getting up early to visit, it gets rather crowded later...More

This bridge is pretty special - lots of history, great design and some lovely views of the gorge below. It's not a long bridge at all but you can marvel on how it's was built over a century ago. Well worth the small drive out...More

I don't think you can, however you could get married at The Avon Gorge Hotel and have the suspension bridge as a backdrop

I would rate Bristol above Cheltenham and on a par with Bath for history and attractions but if your schedule is tight then so be it.. As one other person said Bristol is quite a large City and the attractions are spread... More

If you want to visit the centre, and need a bus, then take the 1, 2, 8 or 9, which all go to the centre. Same buses obvioulsy back up to Clifton.
