WHAT a surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside building but nicely set out inside. Lovely gift shop in the foyer with a cafe and seating area. Cafe VERY limited choices and staff very SLOW. A bit pricy. Better to eat elsewhere in the area....More

Such perfect location, the building and the fish. What this place is lacking tough is love and good management. The cafe was disappointing, 30min wait for couple of toasties, the kids play area very poor. Only sandwiches were available, could do with jacket potatoes at...More

Hi Joanna, Thank you for taking the time to review on your visit. I've passed along your comments to our commercial team. Depending on time of your visit we may have had a few food orders already when you had ordered your toasted sandwiches. As...More

Well designed, with surprising sky/city views in parts. Lovely plants. Content good, but expected more of it. So, expensive for around an hour's stay. May be more interesting for those with children that can read. .More

Hello Thank you for your review. Great to hear that you enjoyed the layout and our botanical gardens - these are all outside of the building enclosed in a biodome for natural lighting and heating! We definitely recommend spending more than an hour as we've...More

We visited the aquarium on a weekday and we was able to look around everything and spend a lot of time here. The rainforest section was particularly good and there is plenty to do. We were not able to spend more than a couple of...More

Great to hear that you made the most of your visit and enjoyed the rainforest. Did you know that we're the only aquarium in the UK to have a giant botanical house with a whole range of seasonal plants? Hope to see you again! Simon

Hello Sorry to hear that you only stayed with us for 15 minutes. We would definitely agree that for such a short visit it can work out to be an expensive trip. As we've got over 40 tanks of different sizes this is around 25...More

Far to expensive for what it it. My 3 1/2 year old had finished in way under an hour. I had to try and convince her to go round again to try and get some moneys worth out of going.

Although it's not quite as spectacular as Plymouth's aquarium, this one still had a range of sealife to see. The walls are very informative and there's plenty for children to see. It's a nice, small day out.
