Rather depressing and generally poor value for money. You don’t need longer than 45 minutes. The main tank is quite nice, but all else isn’t great. The electric eel was very sad to see as he/she needs more space. Probably ok for young children.More

Hi Jim Thank you for your concern about our electric eel however no need to worry - our zoo vets are happy with the size of her enclosure as this resembles her natural environment. This species naturally inhabits shallow river outlets and swamps in order to...More

I took my little girl here today for the second time after her constantly asking to go, I begrudgingly agreed, and I knew I shouldn’t have. I remember the entree prices being extortionate, but thought seeing as we visited the zoo last week and paid...More

Hello, Great to hear that you found some time to explore the aquarium slowly and take it all in. We always recommend spending time to really engage with the animals rather than walking through at a fast pace as our animals get up to all...More

Hello Sorry to hear that you only stayed inside for 25 minutes - we would agree that it can be an expensive trip if you're not taking it all in. We have over 40 different displays (and even more windows into the largest tanks) so...More

The aquarium itself is very interesting, with a range of different areas covering tropical to local marine life. There isn't a great deal of hands on things for kids, however we took our one year old and with a lunch break got around it with...More
