The South West Coast Path National Trail is one of the top walks to be found anywhere in the world.Where else can you walk along 630 miles of such superb coastline? The heritage, wildlife, geology and scenery along the way are truly inspirational and every day walking it brings stunning new experiences.Whether you are looking for an afternoon stroll to take you to a beauty spot, or to embark on the challenge of hiking their entire route from Somerset's Minehead on the edge of Exmoor around to the shores of Poole Harbour in Dorset, or something in between, you’ve come to the right place.

Highly recommend walking the SW coastal path between Torquay and Brixham. Stunning scenery, delightful coves, walking through woods, across beaches, and also following the route of the steam train for part of the walk. Some steep climbs up and down from coves, but worth it...More

We walked from Polperro to Talland Bay over the coastal walk. The views are exceptional with a number of benches along the walk to sit, regain your breath and absorb the seascape and rugged cliff line. The path is largely stones and earth with just...More

Even if you don't walk the entire 630 miles, try one of the sections and you will get hooked.. The views are stunning for almost the entire path, and the accomodations and pubs along the way add to the experience.

The SW Coast Path is huge. It goes across a massive chunk of SW England and covers about 630 miles. A good way to visit it is to choose a portion of it to walk, and you can find many such walks on the SW...More

Did one of the National Trust loop hikes from Bostcastle that went both along the coast and inland through the Valency Valley. Both aspects of the hike were great. Trails are not that well marked so you have to keep your eyes open. It was...More
