I stop by here whenever I am in the area. I love to visit the shop and I almost always purchase something for myself or as a gift. There are many potters that sell their work here. Lots to choose from and all beautiful.

I was in the area on vacation and specifically went to this studio because I had read about it on this site and another, and I love pottery. Maybe I misunderstood what this place was about. I thought this was a studio that sold the artists' work that they felt was not up to their standards (or their "seconds"). Beautiful... More

Hi Abennie, I am sorry you didn't find what you were looking for. We do have a big seconds sale that runs for 2 weeks starting on Martin Luther King weekend. There are lots of really good deals to be had for budget minded consumers, if you are ever in the area we would love to have you back. Our... More

Just happened to drive by and decided to check it out. They had lovely pieces but it was the seconds that sold me. Great pieces that were really inexpensive. We bought a mug (regular price), 2 bowls (seconds for $5 each), a saucer (seconds for $5) and 3 egg-shaped ornaments (seconds for $0.50 each!). You can hardly tell that they... More

If you are looking for a unique gift for yourself or a friend this is the place to go. They have all original and handmade pottery by local people. The faculty was extreamly friendly and offered lots of information about the artist and their work. They also offer a tour if you have time and want to look around www.montpeliermud.com

Fabulous gallery featuring the work from the members - not to mention a teaching studio! If you're in town for a weekend, book a private lesson - or if you live in the area, you can take an eight week class. A bargain compared to other class I've seen around. Tons of great gifts and gift certificates are available. The... More
