This is a lovely spot and well worth the short hike (maybe ½ hour?) to get up to the bottom of the falls. There is a pool there for swimming if you are very hardy, because the water is freezing! And a rocky ledge for picnicking. If you want to sit for a long while, though, you might want to... More

The Falls are an easy 20 minute walk from the car park with a slightly tricky staircase down to the pool at the bottom of the falls. Well worth a visit!

upon recommendation we did this walk on boxing day morning. place was very quiet. nice walk through the forest along the path that runs next to the stream. some ups and downs but easily managed by our nine year old. the majority of the paths are well maintained and level (a fair steps involved too, but also generally level and... We visited Kitekite just yesterday in the afternoon. We arrived around 3pm and spent a few hours and left at 6pm. There were 9 of us in the group, with ages ranging from 11 - 29 years old. Unfortunately, we had fog and drizzle all day, which made the tracks muddy and slippery. However, this did not dampen our spirits,... More

Not too difficult of a hike (around 3-4km around trip on path, would be great jog!) to get to the waterfall. You will walk through lush rainforest (large ferns) Gorgeous waterfall where u can swim. Wear comfy walking shoes although you'll see most locals in shorts and "jandals" because you'll want to put your feet (or body) in water! Many... More

Pretty easy to get to. Most of the short trek is level, but the final few feet are a bit steep and on precarious rocks. Wear decent footwear to get there. The falls are as stunning as the pictures show it to be.

Stunning walk and as mentioned online it is doable with a pushchair (with some care on the steep bits) however you need to be relatively fit and need two people to carry pushie over rocks at the end as others have said - or better to bring a carrier. I was on my own and had to turn back before... More

The water falls are beautiful and worth the 25 minute walk to see them. However I would say that this is not suitable for Weel chairs and puch chairs, young children under 6 would find it hard going.

The actual waterfall is beautiful but you can pass the waterfall and carry on walking up for about another 15 minutes to get to the top. Here you are at the top of the waterfall and you can get in the pool at the top, you have views over the forest and can have a refreshing dip in the natural... More
