the railbus actually runs from Linz station, branching off shortly after leaving station to climb steeply through the trees to Kalenborn where there is little to see . Returned on same train.( but option to take footpath if you fancy a walk) stopped at The...More

Nothing special this trip 5 km up-and-downhill, watching nothing but trees. BUT you can hop off that old diesel train at the Brauhaus Steffens for a cool, unfiltered beer and some typical Brauhaus-food which seems to improve.

The journey on the little train through the woods was wonderful. We chose to walk back down to enjoy the beautiful scenery. he Old Brewery is also worth a visit.
