Beautiful area to anchor out or camp onshore for the night. Lots of nooks and crannies for exploring and the kayaking is generally calm.

We kayaked the marine park and we're thrilled by its beauty Eagles, big moon jellies, clusters of sea stars, old Indian pictographs and historic native camp sites and harbours. Just amazing, crystal clear waters and oysters for the tasting. Designated camp sites and just a...More

Ah, the copeland islands. Best kayaking grounds on a calm day. Lots of little nooks and crannies to explore. Stunning west coast scenery and not accessible to everyone and their dog. Love it!

I have always wanted to go to the Desolation Sound...the Copeland Islands Marine Provincial Park allowed us to get a taste of the region in a day trip. We used our own 10' kayaks and paddled in under 45 minutes to the park. There are...More

Just around the corner from Lund. I took my 30ft sailing vessel in last year. It's a beautiful spot with amazing snorkelling. Be sure to set a solid anchor tucked in. It can get a bit ugly at times. It can also get a bit...More

Setting off from Lund, this is a lovely place to kayak. You have the shelter of the Copelands on the outer side and the shoreline on the inner side. There are quite a few islands with lots of bird life and plenty of seals playing...More

This a a great place to get away from it all and be up close to nature. It's a good area to observe seal and sometimes even orcas. It's a short boat trip or a nice kayak trip from Lund.

We go through this park every year. The water is always warm enough for a swim, the islands are lovely to hike around, and there is an abundance of marine wildlife including seals, dolphins, sea lions, various birds and orcas. There are also some nice...More
