Well in June there WERE plenty of young, enthusiastic staff to promote the area! The older ones were enthusiastic too! They showed us their incredible recreation map that is locally produced....I wish every visitor centre had these. Yes, $5 but wow, everything was on it....More

It would be nice to have some young enthusiastic people on board to promote the recreational activities available in the area.

We stopped here for local information, and got great ideas for hikes, etc. Also, we found items for sale, such as shoes, travel mugs, thermoses, etc that had lovely native design and I thought were super great for price. Cute large bear carving at entrance.

We only went in to ask where grocery stores were. Staff was curtious, friendly and helpful. They provided us with maps showing the locations of the stores. There were also interesting items for sale there, though we didn't stop to do any purchasing.
