This was my third visit. They have certainly upgraded the visitor facilities, with bigger ticket office, sightseeing trains, more shops and catering outlets, and toilets with accessible facilities. The view of red beach was as stunning as ever. The rice field art was quite interesting to see. We had a lot of fun fishing crabs. It was a shame that we went on a rather windy day and could not camp there---they actually had two-bedroom tents for rent. I bought some local products---goose eggs and crafts made from reed, in one of the gift shops in the park. It was convenient to be able to pick them up at the shop close to the exit, so that I didn't have to carry them all the way. Great service. The park is huge and one could spend a whole day there. It was very relaxing to take a walk on the boardwalk with a view of the red beach and green reed marsh, while a lot of birds hovering around. It is said that the best view of the park is from the air, but they only have helicopter service in October. I would very much like to come again for camping overnight and a panaroma view from the air.

I finally got the chance to make a visit to the Red Beach at Panjin this year. It was a sunny day when we got there. Not too many people at the time, so we had enough space to make photos. Small crabs all over the place and making holes in the mud. Little girls tried to catch the crabs with the fishing poles. The sky was blue, plants were in light red, warm breeze and children laughters... oh, what a wonderful picture! It was so charming and peaceful. On the other side of the road, just opposite to the red beach, we could have a good smell of paddy fields. The green green grass of land matched well with the red plants on the other side. Never in my life I had been so near to nature. It did worth a visit to this place.......
